I guess it’s been long enough…
Haven’t posted in a while so what the heck. Not much to say but the usual. Really busy crazy at work. Got a free lunch today at Dominick’s at Oyster Point. The manager needed to pay up for loosing the softball game at the offsite. He was expecting us to order pizza. Well, this has got to be five times more expensive so the supervisors might be “getting in trouble” for it. It’s always easier to get forgivness than permission on these things so I was able to convince them to go somewhere worth the time.
Fifteen people replied to the calendar meeting. Two guys that didn’t reply showed up. I was unnerved because it’s always the two same guys doing this. Since they didn’t reply, we didn’t include them in the reservation. I guess we could have made them sit at another table but two other guys were late so they just sat down. I let them know they should apologize but I doubt they will. They just don’t get it…
Anybody know how to calibrate the Molecular Devices M2 plate reader? Having a tough time getting it to read a fluorescent plate. I’m sure it’s because the dimensions of the plate are wrong so it isn’t centered on the wells. It just finished a read so I need to check it out again. Laters…
